Catching Up

Be honest, you really only like to look at the pictures.  So I'll keep it short, sweet, and to the point.  Here is what I didn't post in the past two years that are either monumental or just fun :)

First off, my dear sister Sarah let me cut some rockin' bangs oh her! Definitely a monumental event...

Christmas :)

New Years

This is the view from our Provo apartment.  It was the best view in the valley!  I made it really big so you can see how beautiful it was.

My dog had puppies. Adorable!

These are my Paul Mitchell friends

I started doing eyelash extensions.

We went to the Roof for Valentine's Day :)  Aw, the happy couple.

I got a perm!

Michael and I took a trip to Las Vegas to celebrate our graduations.

I had surgery...

I did more eyelash extensions :)

I graduated from Paul Mitchell!!

Tana was my model.  I did her hair and makeup.

There are my awesome learning leaders that helped me through some tough hair situations.

I played an April fools joke on my family.  Hehe ;)  (brownies!)

Received my first ever pedicure.  It was heavenly.

Went to Scheel's and rode the ferris wheel with Michael's parents.

Michael walked and graduated officially from BYU!

I scored 131 in bowling! Monumental!!

My best friend had a baby :)

My Pahrump best friend got married :)

Of course, I did her hair.

I made a new friend.

Ran into my good friend Tucker :)

Had the most delicious waffle I will ever have...End of story.

Haha! The best prank, now inside joke, ever!

Hung out with my bester.

My little sister got married.

My Pahrump best friend got baptized :)

And then she let me cut 10 inches off her hair!

Whew!  Super fun times :)  It was great catching up.  More posts to come soon :)

Tour

Why, yes.  Yes it has been a while since I last posted anything.  I guess I'm just not your ideal blogger.  Well, all I have to say about this next post is...This one's for you, Sarah!

What can I say?  A lot has happened in the two year gap that I didn't post.  I will cover those details in the next post.  Lots of pictures to upload!  One exciting event that occurred most recently is Michael and I moved to....Drum roll, please......Nevada!  When people ask me what part of Nevada, I usually just say Las Vegas because nobody knows where (or even how to pronounce it, for that matter) the little town is that we are. However, it is only 50 miles west of Vegas and this town does have plenty of casinos and awkward, stinky people so technically I'm not lying when I say we moved to Las Vegas.  We moved to the great city of Pahrump!  You say it like Puh-rump.  Weird, right?  My brother likes to joke that it sounds like what an elephant's fart sounds like.  He claims he heard that joke from a fellow Pahrumpian.  And he's probably right.  I'm not sure anyone who lives here would stand up for Pahrump and claim that it's an amazing place to be proud to live.  Quite the opposite actually.  I've never seen such interesting individuals in my life.  But the weather is nice and the hummingbirds are much enjoyable.

And now, the moment that Sarah has been waiting for!  Da da da da! The tour of mine and Michael's new home.  First, we have the wonderful front door and lovely welcome mat, a huge thank you to my mother :)  She always knows how to brighten up the place.

Beautiful, ain't it?  Once you enter the front door, this is what you see.

Behold the family room, dining room, and kitchen all pretty much in the same room.  I don't mind the big open space. I love it!  It's a tremendous improvement from our last apartment in Provo.  We could probably fit that apartment into this duplex about 5 times.  No exaggeration.  The thing I love most about this duplex is that the kitchen is NOT just a 4 foot wide hallway with no dishwasher and the smallest oven you will ever see in two lifetimes. It even has an island!  It's heaven :)

Now we move on to upstairs...

I didn't know how to get a good picture of this upstairs hallway so that's why this picture looks kind of funky.  The bottom left of the picture is the stairs and it has that ledge there that I love because it's just more open space :)  In this picture, you can see, starting from the left, the laundry room, two bedrooms, and there's another door to the right and there's a full bathroom.  While taking this picture, I stood in the doorway of the master bedroom.

Hello big bedroom!  The door on the right is our bathroom that I decorated in gray and teal colors.  Michael and I like those colors a lot. And the bright light you can see on the right is my other favorite part of this duplex.  The balcony!!!

It's pretty big, so we even have some fancy patio furniture up here.  We often eat dinner up here and sit out in the evenings and I watch the stars while Michael plays his guitar.  I know, it's really romantic and I am a bit jealous of myself.

Now for those other bedrooms.

One of them is a guest bedroom with a bed and dresser and my awesome purple, fuzzy mushroom chair :)

And the other is my salon/office.  This is my fun room where I get to make people beautiful by doing their hair or their eyelashes :)

And last, but not least, the laundry room with lots of storage space.

Well, there you have it, Sarah.  Our new and improved home that you wanted to see so much.  Isn't it great?  Hopefully sometime you and your cute family can come visit us and see it in real life!  Be so fun ;)

Fun Fact: The dog you see in pretty much every picture is Rufio. He follows me around everywhere. No exaggeration. You could say he likes to help me out with everything.

More Worthingtons of Fun :)

Probably one of the most exciting things to happen to Michael and me this summer is being able to spend time in Ohio with my in-laws :) Michael's parents and two younger sisters drove up from Alabama just to spend time with us. They called it their summer vacation and I feel super special that we were their vacation, haha:)
So, Michael and I planned the funnest things to do while they were here. First thing we did when they got here was eat a delicious lunch of chicken sandwiches at our lovely apartment. Then we headed straight to our favorite place, the beach!

We swam in the water and watched the sunset :) It was a beautiful sight.

Sarah :)
Grace :)
Sarah found this rock and this is what Michael did with it.

Me and Michael...the cute couple :)

The sunsets at the beach are always so beautiful and breathtaking. We love them :)!

After some fun at the beach, we left for our apartment and grilled some hamburgers and hot dogs.  And, of course, we had to end the day with some scrumptious smores!
Yes, that is the fire place inside our apartment. Since it is always super hot and even more super humid, we only use it to roast smores, Michael's favorite form of sugar. It works very well and we enjoyed sharing it with the in-laws! Their visit was a good one and we miss them already.
